XLC Ergo Lock-on Grips are indeed ergonomically shaped for comfort, the grips are made in a hard wearing kraton rubber and have gel padding which enhances riders comfort through its energy absorbing characteristics. The locking clamp on the side of each grip ensures secure attachment. Unlike standard grips, which need to be a narrower internal diameter than the bars to stay in place (so they can be a struggle to fit or remove), lock-on grips are just the right internal diameter to slip onto any conventional bar with ease, all you need is a 2.5mm Allen key and you will be ready to ride!
