The Hiko City is a comfortable, functional electric bike specifically designed to meet the needs of Kiwi riders. The full step-through frame design provides easy mounting and dismounting, with a low centre of gravity, for a more stable ride. The Suntour front suspension fork reduces rider fatigue when rolling over curbs or potholes along the way, while the suspension seatpost with adjustable cushioning makes the upright riding position extremely comfortable. The universal one-size frame design fits most riders, and with shorter riders in mind the stem and bull handlebars are fully adjustable. A 35km/hr+ top assist speed with twist throttle is reached through the reliable 300W Bafang rear mounted motor, paired with an upgradeable 10.4Ah integrated battery. Shimano Altus 1×7 speed gearing offers a reliable setup, while a front Tektro Mechanical Disc brake is paired with a rear Tektro V-Brake for balanced stopping power and modulation.
