Shimano’s best in class EP8 drive system is paired with your choice of 3 removable in-tube batteries (sold separately) from 540Wh, 720Wh or industry-leading 900Wh. To make the battery easily removable, Norco rotated the front of the EP8 motor up, which also provides additional ground clearance, drastically reducing the likelihood of impact damage. This also allowed Norco to rethink the suspension layout, resulting in a new horizontal shock configuration and optimized suspension kinematics. E-MTB certified components including reinforced freehubs, spokes and rims, alongside E-MTB certified suspension provides the strength and stiffness for big mountain riding.
